Arsene Wenger is not planning to do any major changes

The manager who has been in charge of Arsenal for over 17 years, Arsene Wenger revealed that he does not have any big plans for the upcoming summer transfer window as Wenger believes that not many things need to be done because he already has a very strong squad at his disposal.

Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger said: “We are not in need of absolute change. We have a strong squad. We have some strong young players behind. We have a big squad now: Lukas Podolski, Joel Campbell, Yaya Sanogo (all forwards who currently out on loan) will come back. If you add that to the number of players we already have…”

“We have improved a lot this season. Our defensive record since January is outstanding. We are not in need of absolute change this summer. We have a strong squad and we have some strong young players behind. We are not close to signing anybody; we have a very big squad, so we need to lose some players as well.’’

Arsenal went through a run of 8 consecutive triumphs which began on February 10 with Arsene Wenger’s player claiming a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace and this streak of successive victories spanned until April 11.

This string of positive results pushed Arsenal to the 2nd place of Premier League as they are toe to toe with Manchester City and even though the race for the English title is already over, these victories represented much more than only points for Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal is not only located in the top spots of the Premier League but also managed to get into the finals of the FA Cup where they will be facing off with Aston Villa on May 30.

All of these positive results and impressive performances that Arsenal has secured in these final stages are some of the major reasons on why Arsene Wenger believes that there is no reason for him to make huge changes or signing in the approaching summer transfer window.
